ALL WALKS OF LIFE HAVE THE RIGHT
TO WEAR OUR STRIPES
TigerStyle Combat Sports is Southeast Portland’s home for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA — where a first-timer and a competing fighter train on the same mats, six days a week.
TRAIN IN WHAT MOVES YOU
From your first class to your first fight, every program at TigerStyle is coached by people who compete themselves.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Gi and No-Gi classes led by head instructor Achilles Guerreiro. Learn the leverage-based grappling system that lets a smaller, technical athlete control a bigger, stronger one — offered six days a week.
Muay Thai
The Art of Eight Limbs, taught by Zach Robinson and Achilles Guerreiro. Punches, elbows, knees, and kicks in a fast, intense class built for conditioning, timing, and real self-defense.
MMA
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons plus Saturday mornings. Our MMA class blends the striking and grappling you build in BJJ and Muay Thai into live, full-contact practice for teens and adults.
Kids BJJ — Ages 5–12
Monday through Friday afternoons. Kids build real jiu-jitsu skill alongside confidence, discipline, and focus that carries into the classroom.
Kids Muay Thai — Ages 5–12
Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Kids learn to strike with control while training respect, perseverance, and good sportsmanship.

A GYM BUILT ON RESPECT, NOT EGO
TigerStyle Combat Sports opened its mats to South Tabor, Foster-Powell, and the rest of Southeast Portland with one rule that still holds: everybody who steps on the mats — from a nervous first-timer to a fight-team competitor — gets treated the same.
Our coaches have trained under and alongside some of the best competitors in the sport, and they bring that same standard — patient, direct, and genuinely invested in your progress — to every class. Whether you’re here to get in the best shape of your life, learn to defend yourself, or chase a title, you’ll find a team that trains hard and shows up for each other.
Meet the Instructors

PORTLAND’S KIDS MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM
Ages 5 to 12 train BJJ and Muay Thai in classes built just for them — every weekday afternoon, plus Saturday morning. Kids leave with more than technique: they learn to listen, to lose without quitting, and to stand up for themselves without starting the fight.
Parents tell us it’s the class their kid never wants to miss.
